URL Born Legacy (Crow42 Recap) In Da Building

There seems to be a trend going on within the URL. 
After a reinvention of sorts due to a "COUGH" failed battle. 
The most visible battlerap league took on new life under a new slogan.
Fast forward to some mixed results and a mildly successful experiment fusion event with sneakers(and u have the URL ready to give birth 2 a new legacy)
A legacy that hopefully includes battles ending @ a decent time. 
A legacy that includes more structure and less B.S.
A legacy that has to take the fans in2 consideration.
The event is called Born Legacy but the legacy the URL wants 2 start been started. It began after NOME3 , and been kinda fumbling ever since.
Uncertainly like this leaves many fans with no alternative but 2 think negative. In all honesty this shouldn't happen but it's the consequence of being #1 for so long. The Card while not bad is proof of the dilemma the URL faces and will face in the foreseeable future.......................

As in life there are good times, there are bad times and u know if before every battle(Smack had 2 announce a set of rules) s#** was going 2 get UGLY............


THE GOOD

-SHOUT OUTS
-Props go 2 Smack,Beasly,Norbes and the entire URL staff
-Every battle rapper on the card and in the building
-All my dudes who come from the 5 boroughs (and beyond)who came out 2 show support

-NEW LEGACY
Few things grabbed my attention and should be a welcoming addition
Tickets were 60$ 
(don't know how much they were @ the door but 60$ was a great price)
The venue was great IMO 
(it was a small studio but was very spacious and the brick walls engulfing the white stage) gave it a real gritty feel

-THE SECRET BATTLE
The mystery battle turned out 2 be the opener 
1st time watching both Wavy & Prez live and they did not disappoint.
GOOD way 2 open the event

-PERFORMANCE VS BARS
The age old question right lol
Young ILL bars check
K shine performance check
GOOD display tbh

-A WILL ON THE ILL RISE
ILL WILL relentless attack on Magic in a assortment of creative ways was a GOOD look

-"THAT'S LIGHT"
Every battle Tay Roc has after JC must be a huge name tbh
It seems everyone Roc battles he absorbs his rivals fan base IMO
Not only did he proclaim his ascension to the top tier 
Watching him paired up with big names seems more believable now
ROC sending shots @ Surf, Clips and Cal

-CHARLIE & HIS 3 CLIPS
Clips displaying a crazy 3 round masterpiece that shut down the building and left Surf putting out a tweet (admitting the loss)


THE BAD

-SAME MAGIC TRICK?
Props 2 Magic but he seem to fall in that same pit of criticism that has plague his career (He came @ Will 1 way & 1 way only in his battle)
It may look different on cam but Magic def had 2 be more versatile IMO 

-PREZ MAFIA aka CHICO
Mafia showing his teeth reminded the crowd of the dog from next Friday fame

-OVERZEALOUS PUCH LINE CROWD
We all love punch lines but the crowd was a little extra (Yeah yeah I know)

-NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS
B4 the main event Beasly told somebody from Surf entourage not 2 come on stage. The dude completely ignored him , Beasley frustrated with everything started 2 get angry. He had 2 be calm down by Smack, Norbes and a few others 

-UNDERWHELMING CLOSERS
Mainly everyone suffered from this
Main offenders was JC , Kshine , Charlie clips(1st round) , Surf (2nd round) and a few others


THE UGLY

-WEIRD ANIMAL SOUND
That UGLY animal sound
which occurred after the 4th battle
Suspicion lies to Tay Roc oversized hype man lol

-SNOW DAY
The storm which kept a lot of people home
Even though the crowd was there , it could have been larger

-BEWARE THE INVISIBLE LINE
The sound curse is alive and well within the URL
No shit right but @ Born legacy things got a little weird/UGLY. There was a invisible line on the right side of the stage , that once crossed immediately shuts off the mic. The victims were Wavy, JC, Young ILL, B magic and Charlie Clips

-TSU ME
Maybe it was his attention on his album but Surf seem not really care @ times. Aside from the minor choke he ended his 2nd not really giving a fuck

-THE FUCKING BANNER
Which fell like 3 times and was held up by black tape that did not stick

After it fell the 3rd time , Smack was like F IT........................
